Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Security engineering roles in SaaS are increasingly defined by how well they integrate into product delivery, not just perimeter controls. This Senior Security Engineer position stands out because it sits close to Dashlane’s core product and internal systems, with an emphasis on architecture reviews, threat modeling, and strengthening a secure development lifecycle—work that maps directly to how modern subscription software is built and shipped.
From a SaaS career perspective, the remit touches several durable security domains: vulnerability management as an operational program, risk assessments across environments and data, and participation in compliance and incident response. The combination is valuable because it builds fluency in both preventive controls (design-time security) and ongoing assurance (run-time governance), alongside cross-functional communication with engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
This role is best suited to a security engineer who prefers influencing engineering outcomes through pragmatic guidance, repeatable processes, and clear risk framing. It will fit someone comfortable moving between application security, CI/CD considerations, and identity standards, and who enjoys mentoring and collaborating across departments in a hybrid, office-connected working model in Paris.
