Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Lead Product Designer role sits at the intersection of modern B2B SaaS and agentic AI, focused on shaping how enterprise users interact with planning workflows inside an EPM platform. Designing “agentic” experiences in a high-stakes domain like finance and performance management is a distinct SaaS design problem: trust, explainability, and controllability matter as much as interface polish, and the product surface spans multiple personas and decision cycles.
From a SaaS career perspective, the scope signals meaningful leverage—owning several product areas while setting a design vision and guiding other designers. That combination tends to build durable skills in cross-functional product shaping, user research in complex environments, and translating technical constraints into coherent end-to-end experiences. The emphasis on new interaction modalities also positions the work close to where many SaaS teams are still forming patterns and standards.
This role is best suited to a senior designer who prefers ambiguity with clear accountability, and who enjoys balancing strategy with production-quality delivery. It will fit someone comfortable partnering tightly with product and engineering, and who wants their design craft to influence both the product roadmap and the way a SaaS organization practices design.
