Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Territory Manager role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the intersection of recurring-revenue sales and the partner ecosystem. Veeam operates in data resilience—an infrastructure-adjacent category where purchase decisions are often technical, risk-driven, and influenced by trusted channel relationships. The remit is explicitly indirect: winning business by enabling and collaborating with partners rather than relying solely on direct outreach.
For a SaaS career, that mix builds durable commercial skills: managing a territory with disciplined forecasting, translating product value for multiple stakeholders, and navigating co-selling motions that are common in enterprise and mid-market SaaS. Exposure to upsell and cross-sell alongside net-new prospecting also mirrors how many subscription businesses drive expansion revenue, making the experience portable across platforms, security, and infrastructure software.
This position is best suited to someone who prefers structured ownership of a market, is comfortable coordinating activity across partner organizations, and values measurable execution (pipeline hygiene, forecasting, territory planning). It should appeal to sales professionals who want to deepen channel-led selling capability while still keeping a direct line to end-customer outcomes, in a remote setup anchored in Finland.
