Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior User Researcher role stands out in the SaaS landscape because it sits close to product direction at a platform company serving complex, enterprise-grade use cases. The remit signals research as an input to strategy—not just validation—covering work from early vision through launch, where customer needs, usability, and adoption intersect.
For a SaaS career, the role offers durable leverage: building repeatable research programs, translating qualitative and quantitative signals into prioritization, and creating alignment across product, design, engineering, and data science. That combination is especially relevant in subscription businesses where retention and expansion depend on consistent end-to-end experiences, and where research must connect to roadmap decisions and measurable outcomes.
The position is best suited to a researcher who prefers ambiguity and wants to be accountable for shaping a research roadmap rather than executing isolated studies. It will fit someone comfortable operating as a cross-functional peer to senior partners, communicating insights crisply, and balancing long-horizon discovery with near-term delivery. The hybrid setup also suggests a working style that values in-person collaboration alongside focused independent work.
