About the Role:
Glean is building the future of work—where every enterprise becomes AI-native. As a Forward Deployed Product Manager you'll be at the forefront of this transformation, owning the end-to-end success of our most strategic customers' AI journeys.
This role is for builders who thrive at the intersection of strategy, technology, and customer impact. You'll own a portfolio of customers, lead discovery to uncover transformative use cases, design and ship AI agents that handle thousands of workflows daily, and become a trusted voice shaping both your customers' AI roadmaps and Glean's product direction. You won't just advise—you'll build, deploy, and scale solutions that fundamentally change how enterprises work.
Forward Deployed Product Managers at Glean are mini-GMs of their customer portfolios. You'll have the autonomy to identify high-value problems, architect elegant solutions, drive adoption at scale, and directly influence our product roadmap based on real customer needs. Working alongside our forward-deployed engineers, you'll collaborate closely to rapidly build and iterate on customer solutions, bridging strategic vision with technical execution. This is the role for future founders, product leaders, and business unit executives who want to shape the AI-native enterprise from the ground up.
You will:

Own strategic customer relationships
- Take full accountability for customer outcomes from discovery through scaled adoption
- Serve as the trusted AI advisor to C-suite stakeholders, shaping their multi-year transformation strategies
- Drive measurable business impact and identify expansion opportunities across the organization
Shape Glean's product direction
- Become a key source of customer insight guiding our long-term product roadmap
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design to scope and prioritize features that unlock customer value

About you:
Required:
- 5+ years of experience blending business and technology in customer-facing roles—product management, strategy consulting, solutions engineering, technical program management, or founder experience
- Deep technical acumen: You can shape AI agent architectures, understand code (Python, SQL, or similar languages), debug why an agent isn't working, and collaborate fluently with engineers on implementation details. You've shipped working AI solutions, not just slide decks
- Builder mentality: You've demonstrated the ability to go from ambiguous customer problem to shipped solution that drives measurable outcomes
- Executive presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to earn trust from individual contributors to C-suite stakeholders. You can tailor technical depth to your audience
- Product sense and user empathy: You naturally spot high-value AI applications across diverse business functions and design intuitive, guided experiences
- Operational excellence: Proven ability to manage multiple complex, high-visibility projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting commitments
- Comfort in ambiguity: You thrive in fast-moving environments where you define the problem as much as solve it
Preferred if you have:
- Technical degree (CS, Engineering, Math) or MBA from a top program
- Experience at leading consulting firms, tech companies, or investment firms
- Experience in one or many of the following industries: automotive & manufacturing, industrials, retail & CPG, financial services, telecom, technology / SaaS
