Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Strategic alliances sit at the center of modern SaaS distribution, especially where enterprise buyers expect integrated solutions across cloud platforms, infrastructure, and security. This role stands out because it is explicitly field-facing and built around co-sell execution—translating partner strategy into coordinated account activity with measurable commercial outcomes across the Americas.
For a SaaS career, the work builds durable operating skills: shaping joint value propositions, establishing repeatable partner motions, and using pipeline and closed-won signals to refine go-to-market programs. It also develops fluency in matrixed organizations where influence matters as much as authority—an increasingly common reality in SaaS ecosystems that depend on hyperscalers, marketplaces, and strategic ISVs to reach customers.
The position fits professionals who prefer orchestration over single-lane ownership: someone comfortable convening sales leadership, partner teams, and enablement functions around shared targets. It is well-suited to an experienced GTM operator who enjoys being close to live deals, can move between strategy and execution, and is motivated by the mechanics of making partnerships work in real customer cycles rather than through top-down planning alone.
