Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Learning and Development Program Manager role stands out in the SaaS landscape because it sits at the intersection of product-like iteration and internal enablement. The listing signals an L&D function being built out, which is a common inflection point for SaaS companies formalising how they scale knowledge across global teams. The emphasis on piloting, feedback loops, and learning technology also reflects how modern SaaS operators increasingly treat employee development as an operational system, not a set of one-off trainings.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds fluency in cross-functional stakeholder management, portfolio prioritisation, and measurement, all within an environment where change is constant and programs must evolve quickly. Experience designing onboarding, skills, and leadership initiatives translates across SaaS organisations because these programs directly influence adoption of processes, tooling, and go-to-market execution. Exposure to emerging approaches, including generative AI in learning workflows, adds a contemporary layer that is becoming relevant across SaaS enablement functions.
The role is best suited to an experienced L&D builder who prefers ambiguity, enjoys testing ideas in real operating conditions, and can balance creativity with disciplined execution. It will fit someone motivated by shaping systems and standards rather than maintaining mature, fixed curricula.
