Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Veeam Data Cloud sits in a SaaS segment where trust and continuity are the product, with backup and recovery delivered as a service across major platforms like Microsoft 365 and Salesforce. That makes test leadership unusually central, because reliability, security posture, and tenant level correctness are inseparable from customer value in data resilience software.
For a SaaS engineering career, this role builds durable leverage in how cloud services are validated and operated at scale. Owning test frameworks, CI/CD patterns, and observability signals connects quality engineering to delivery throughput and production readiness, not just pre release verification. Experience spanning Kubernetes, Azure, and automation tooling also translates well across modern SaaS organisations that run distributed systems and need repeatable release confidence.
This position tends to suit an established SDET leader who prefers hands on technical ownership alongside people management. It aligns with professionals who enjoy creating structure, measuring outcomes through metrics, and coordinating across engineering stakeholders to reduce risk. It also fits someone motivated by platform level quality problems where the test strategy must evolve with product surface area and customer expectations.
