As an Account Executive focused on the Quebec Public Sector, you will play a critical role in driving growth across provincial, municipal, education, healthcare, and broader public sector organizations. You will own strategic relationships, lead complex sales cycles, and position Genesys Cloud as the platform of choice for modernizing citizen experience. Key Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth, market share, and pipeline generation across a defined Quebec public sector territory
Own and manage complex sales opportunities from prospecting through close using the Genesys Way of Selling and MEDDPICC methodology
Build and execute territory and account plans aligned to Genesys strategic priorities
Develop strong executive relationships within Quebec public sector organizations and ecosystem partners
Navigate and advise customers through Quebec specific procurement, funding, and acquisition processes
Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Collaborate closely with channel partners including VARs, integrators, carriers, and AppFoundry partners
Partner with internal teams such as Business Development, Marketing, Channel, Industry, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success to drive territory success
Present compelling business value propositions through clear written and verbal communication in both French and English
Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with senior leadership aligned to growth objectives
Support customer adoption and long-term success in partnership with Customer Success Managers
Build deep knowledge of customer missions, modernization initiatives, and IT strategic plans
Position the value of Genesys Digital and AI solutions to address citizen experience challenges
Align customer priorities to Genesys capabilities to clearly articulate why Genesys
Requirements:
7 or more years of enterprise field sales or business development experience, preferably within the public sector
Proven experience selling customer experience, CCaaS, UCaaS, AI, cloud, or enterprise software solutions
Strong understanding of Quebec public sector procurement and funding models, both direct and indirect
Demonstrated use of structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and account strategy planning
Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
Proficiency with enterprise sales tools such as Salesforce, Clari or equivalent, Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and related platforms
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
Ability to travel up to 25 percent within the region
Must be based in Quebec or within reasonable proximity to the territory
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quota
Experience selling to Quebec provincial, municipal, education, healthcare, or crown agencies
Established network within the Quebec public sector ecosystem
Experience working closely with channel and alliance partners
Strong pipeline generation discipline with expected coverage of three to four times annual quota
Ability to develop and execute effective territory and call-out strategies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex customer challenges
High level of creativity, ownership, and accountability
Technical aptitude in areas such as APIs, AI, telecom, cybersecurity, or infrastructure is an asset

Gérer et mener des opportunités de vente complexes, de la prospection à la conclusion, en appliquant la méthodologie Genesys Way of Selling et MEDDPICC
Élaborer et exécuter des plans de territoire et de comptes alignés sur les priorités stratégiques de Genesys
Développer des relations solides avec les cadres dirigeants des organisations du secteur public québécois ainsi qu’avec les partenaires de l’écosystème
Accompagner et conseiller les clients à travers les processus d’approvisionnement, de financement et d’acquisition propres au Québec
Produire des prévisions de revenus mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles précises, en atteignant ou dépassant constamment les objectifs
Collaborer étroitement avec les partenaires de distribution, y compris les revendeurs à valeur ajoutée (VAR), les intégrateurs, les fournisseurs de télécommunications et les partenaires AppFoundry
Travailler en partenariat avec les équipes internes (Développement des affaires, Marketing, Canaux, Industrie, Affaires juridiques, Finances et Réussite client) afin d’assurer le succès du territoire
Présenter des propositions de valeur convaincantes au moyen de communications écrites et verbales claires, en français et en anglais
Animer des revues d’affaires trimestrielles et annuelles avec la haute direction, en lien avec les objectifs de croissance
Soutenir l’adoption des solutions et la réussite à long terme des clients en collaboration avec les gestionnaires de la réussite client
Développer une connaissance approfondie des missions des clients, de leurs initiatives de modernisation et de leurs plans stratégiques TI
Mettre en valeur les solutions numériques et d’intelligence artificielle de Genesys pour répondre aux enjeux d’expérience citoyenne
Aligner les priorités des clients aux capacités de Genesys afin d’expliquer clairement la valeur distinctive de Genesys
Exigences :
Minimum de 7 ans d’expérience en vente terrain de niveau entreprise ou en développement des affaires, idéalement dans le secteur public
Expérience démontrée dans la vente de solutions d’expérience client, CCaaS, UCaaS, IA, infonuagiques ou de logiciels d’entreprise
Solide compréhension des modèles d’approvisionnement et de financement du secteur public québécois, tant directs qu’indirects
Utilisation démontrée de méthodologies de vente structurées telles que MEDDPICC et la planification stratégique de comptes
Expérience dans la gestion de cycles de vente complexes impliquant de multiples parties prenantes
