Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This GTM Strategy and Planning role sits at a common inflection point for enterprise SaaS: moving from product market fit into repeatable, measurable go to market execution. With an AI platform sold into legal and professional services, the planning function becomes a lever for turning early demand into dependable capacity, coverage, and forecasting across segments and regions.
For a SaaS career, the work builds durable operating muscle in how revenue systems scale. Owning target setting, quota and capacity models, and scenario planning develops a practical understanding of unit economics, funnel constraints, and productivity assumptions that most teams only surface when growth introduces complexity. The cross functional scope across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance also strengthens the ability to translate strategy into mechanisms, dashboards, and decision narratives used by leadership.
This is best suited to an experienced individual contributor who prefers ambiguous problems, structured analysis, and stakeholder influence over people management. It fits someone who wants to be close to executive decisions, comfortable working with incomplete data, and motivated by building planning processes that can be reused as the company expands.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.

You will act as a generalist strategic partner across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance, applying structured thinking and data to solve high-impact GTM problems. Build and maintain planning models (e.g., capacity, productivity, scenario analyses) that translate GTM strategy into executable plans
Drive cross-functional planning initiatives by defining problem statements, structuring analysis, and delivering clear recommendations
Develop executive-ready narratives, presentations, and dashboards that synthesize complex data into clear insights and decision points
What You Have

Demonstrated experience owning GTM planning, capacity modeling, or strategic analysis in a sales-led organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous questions and work with incomplete data
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear communication, strong judgment, and data-backed recommendations
Experience operating autonomously as a senior IC, owning projects end-to-end without people management
Compensation Range
$145,000 - $195,000 USD
