Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Security and developer tooling remain two of the most durable SaaS categories, and this SDR role sits at the intersection of both. Checkmarx operates in application security with an enterprise platform focus, which typically means longer sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and a high bar for credibility in early conversations. Supporting a Strategic Accounts motion also signals work tied to large, complex customers rather than purely high-volume SMB outreach.
For a SaaS sales career, the role offers practice in the mechanics that translate across mature go-to-market teams: account research, org mapping, multi-threading, and disciplined qualification using frameworks like MEDDIC. The emphasis on tight alignment with Account Executives and consistent CRM and sequencing hygiene reflects how pipeline is built and inspected in enterprise SaaS, particularly in competitive replacement scenarios where messaging and timing matter.
This position tends to suit an SDR who prefers deliberate, account-based prospecting over broad, template-driven activity. It fits someone comfortable engaging both technical and business personas, and who enjoys synthesizing signals from tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo into a coherent outreach plan. Remote structure also favors self-management and clear written communication.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
