About the role
Join us at Deepdub for an Exciting Venture in AI Voice
We are looking for a Swiss German Language Expert for a short-term, project-based freelance role, fully remote.
The ideal candidate is a fluent speaker of Swiss-German, with strong linguistic intuition, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of regional variations and dialectal differences.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and tag transcripts against audio samples
- Ensure transcription accuracy, including wording, punctuation, and language-specific nuances
- Identify and handle dialectal or regional variations appropriately
- Correct and refine transcripts as needed
- Process tens to hundreds of audio samples per project with high accuracy
- Collaborate with Deepdub’s linguistic and AI teams when required
Requirements
- Fluent in Swiss-German, with familiarity across regional variations
- Strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive linguistic tasks
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a fully remote environment
- Availability with 1-day notice during a 1–2 week scheduled project window
- Professional communication skills and a high level of responsibility
- Prior experience working with technological tools (e.g., web-based platforms, annotation tools, QA tools, and editing tools)
