Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Apricot sits in a classic vertical SaaS category where product differentiation is earned through workflow depth, data integrity, and trust. Building for home health clinicians means the product has to translate messy, real-world processes into software that is usable, compliant, and resilient. That combination makes the role notable within SaaS because it is less about surface-level feature shipping and more about designing systems that hold up under operational and regulatory constraints.
For a SaaS Product Manager, this kind of environment compounds learning quickly. It builds fluency in discovery when users cannot easily articulate needs, in sequencing releases to reduce risk, and in thinking beyond launch to rollout and adoption. The emphasis on cross-functional influence across Engineering, Design, CX, and leadership also maps directly to how modern SaaS organizations make decisions and sustain product quality over time.
This role tends to fit a senior PM who prefers end-to-end ownership and is comfortable making tradeoffs with incomplete information. It will suit someone who enjoys turning qualitative insight into durable roadmap direction, and who takes a user-experience lens seriously even when the underlying domain is complex. An appetite for thoughtful debate and direct feedback is likely to help.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
Job Description
What is Apricot?
At Apricot, we build software that helps home health clinicians do their best work.
For decades, healthcare documentation tools have been designed around systems — not people. The result is fragmented workflows, heavy cognitive load, and countless hours lost to paperwork.
We believe thoughtful product design can change that.
Our platform helps clinicians complete complex clinical documentation safely, efficiently, and in compliance with required standards — while giving care teams better visibility and agencies higher-quality data.
We’re growing quickly and expanding across new workflows, visit types, and integrations, with a simple goal: build tools that genuinely improve how care is delivered.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who wants real ownership, meaningful impact, and hard product problems.
You’ll join a small, highly collaborative Product team and take ownership of major initiatives — from discovery through delivery and adoption. This is a full-stack PM role with a strong focus on user experience. You’ll lead through influence across Engineering, Design, CX, and Leadership — navigating ambiguity, resolving tradeoffs, and aligning teams around clear product decisions.
You will be a crucial decision maker in our organization - helping to decide what we build next, how far we take it, and how it lands with users.
You will help determine:
What problems are worth solving
How we sequence and scale solutions
Where to prioritize speed vs. durability
How our product evolves as workflows and data complexity grow
We move quickly, debate ideas openly, and give direct feedback. This role is best suited for someone who finds energy in that environment rather than friction. We’re looking for someone who thrives in complexity: where users don’t always articulate their needs, workflows are messy, tradeoffs are constant, and judgment matters.
This is a hybrid role out of our Oklahoma City office with 3+ days per week in office.
What You’ll Do
Define product direction
Lead discovery in complex, real-world clinical environments
Identify high-impact problem areas that shape roadmap strategy
Translate messy, qualitative insight into durable product direction
Own product initiatives end-to-end
Drive initiatives from problem framing through launch and iteration
Break large efforts into thoughtful, shippable phases
Make prioritization decisions with limited resources and imperfect information
Surface risks early and adapt as constraints change
Shape user-centered systems
Partner closely with Design to reduce cognitive load and friction
Balance simplicity, completeness, speed, and credibility
Think in workflows and systems, not isolated features
Ensure solutions hold up under real-world usage and edge cases
Lead cross-functionally
Lead with influence with Engineering, Design, CX, Sales, and Clinical teams and learn from them
Balance technical constraints, business needs, and user experience
Lead through influence and strong product judgment
Drive adoption and quality
Think beyond shipping to rollout, learning, and engagement
Partner with CX on release communication and stabilization
Maintain a high bar for quality, trust, and clinical credibility
What Makes You a Great Fit
You’re someone who:
Strategic thinker: Defines problem spaces, not just features. Who thinks in workflows, not just features.
Systems-oriented: Understands how workflows, data, and experience intersect.
Judgment-driven: Has made high-impact product decisions under ambiguity and owned the outcomes.
Discovery-led: Can uncover real user needs when users struggle to articulate them.
Ownership-minded: Takes responsibility for outcomes, not just deliverables.
Influential leader: Aligns cross-functional teams without relying on authority.
Domain learner: Quickly builds deep context in complex industries.
Feedback-forward: Seeks candid input and iterates openly.
Required Experience:
Significant experience shipping SaaS products as a Product Manager
Ownership of complex initiatives from idea to launch
Strong discovery instincts
Strong partnerships working closely with Engineering and Design
Comfort operating in ambiguity
Excellent communication skills
Startup or high-growth environment experience
Nice to have
Experience with workflow-heavy or complex products
Exposure to regulated or high-trust domains such as healthcare, finance, etc
Who Thrives Here
People who succeed at Apricot tend to:
enjoy complex problems without obvious answers
care deeply about how real people experience software
value feedback and continuous learning
take responsibility for outcomes, not just deliverables
balance speed with quality
stay curious under pressure
Why Join Apricot

You’ll have real ownership, meaningful influence, and the opportunity to build something that matters alongside thoughtful, driven teammates.
If you’re excited by complex product challenges, real-world impact, and high-agency roles, we’d love to meet you.
