Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Inside Systems Engineer role sits at a common pressure point in enterprise SaaS: translating a technically deep platform, in this case data resilience and backup across hybrid environments, into decisions customers can act on. With Veeam operating at global scale and supporting large, complex deployments, the work reflects the realities of selling and supporting infrastructure software where reliability, security, and architecture matter as much as features.
For a SaaS career path, the position builds a durable blend of presales craft and systems thinking. Regular exposure to hypervisors, cloud platforms, storage, and networking strengthens the technical foundation that many SaaS companies rely on when moving upmarket. The emphasis on demos, configuration reviews, and mapping requirements to outcomes also develops repeatable skills in discovery, technical storytelling, and stakeholder alignment that transfer across solution engineering, technical account management, and broader go to market roles.
The role is best suited to professionals who enjoy customer facing problem solving and can switch between hands on technical detail and clear communication. It will fit someone comfortable partnering closely with sales while coordinating with support and licensing, and who values structured account hygiene through tools like Salesforce. The Portuguese and English requirement signals a focus on multi region coverage and cross cultural clarity.
