Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager – SOX & IT Compliance, the Manager – IT Controls will serve as the technical subject matter expert responsible for the design, execution, and oversight of IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), and key automated and business process controls across the organization’s products and platforms.
This role requires deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, CI/CD environments, automated QA frameworks, and role-based access control models. Experience with billing and revenue systems is highly desirable. The individual will collaborate closely with IT, Security, Finance, Revenue, and External Auditors to ensure ongoing compliance and control effectiveness.
This is a highly technical, hands-on role that combines managerial responsibilities with individual contribution. The position demands a strong understanding of platform architecture, supporting applications, access management models, and API-driven automation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the testing and validation of IT General Controls (ITGCs) across in-scope systems, including DevOps and related tools.
Perform testing and validation of automated IT controls.
Plan and execute walkthroughs and control testing in accordance with established audit standards.
Support the organization’s preparation, testing, and continuous monitoring of compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Develop and maintain high-quality process narratives and audit documentation for in-scope applications.
Investigate control deficiencies and support impact assessments and remediation efforts.
Prepare quarterly (or as needed) reporting materials for senior management and the Audit and Disclosure Committees.
Deliver SOX compliance training across the organization, including emerging topics in internal control over financial reporting (ICFR).
Develop and enhance tools for control owners, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and a growth mindset.
Obtain quarterly management updates in support of SOX certification requirements.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and quality review to team members to ensure high-quality SOX deliverables.
Required Qualifications
8years of experience in ITGC, SOX, or ICFR programs within cloud-native and DevOps-driven environments.
Strong technical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket).
Understanding of revenue models and subscription-based billing systems.
Hands-on experience with AWS environments.
Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or equivalent.
Familiarity with subscription and usage-based billing models.
Knowledge of Finance and Revenue processes and supporting applications.
Experience working with Big 4 audit firms.
Leadership Competencies

Strong technical acumen combined with an audit-oriented mindset.
Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple SOX workstreams in parallel.
Experience operating in a high-growth SaaS environment.
