Your Role at Genesys
As an Account Executive – Greenfield, you will focus on acquiring new Enterprise customers in Italy. You will build pipeline, engage strategic accounts, and position Genesys Cloud as a leading CX platform.
You will contribute to expanding Genesys’ presence by acquiring new customers and generating sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and convert new Enterprise opportunities.
Build and execute territory and account acquisition strategies.
Generate pipeline through prospecting, networking, and partner collaboration.
Manage consultative sales cycles from initial engagement through close.
Position the full Genesys portfolio with particular focus on Cloud transformation.
Engage C-level and key business decision-makers.
Develop differentiated value propositions in competitive scenarios.
Collaborate with PreSales, Marketing, and Partners to support pipeline creation and growth.
Achieve and exceed assigned new business quota.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
8+ years of new business (hunter) experience in Enterprise software sales (CCaaS, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) or similar environment
Proven track record in acquiring new logos in the Italian market.
Strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills.
Experience managing competitive sales cycles.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Ability to travel frequently
