Your Role at Genesys
As a Senior Account Executive – Enterprise, you will drive strategic growth within a defined portfolio of large Enterprise accounts in Italy, including but not limited to Government and State-owned companies. You’ll also be assigned a set of prospects where new business can be developed. You will focus on expanding existing relationships, identifying transformation opportunities, and positioning the full Genesys Cloud platform at C-level, as well as developing new opportunities in a green field patch of customers.
You will act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and orchestrate cross-functional teams to win complex, high-value deals; work with partners and system integrators to develop new business in the green field.
Responsibilities
Own and grow a portfolio of strategic Enterprise accounts and a set of prospects.
Develop and execute multi-year account plans aligned with customer business objectives and prospects potential.
Drive upsells, cross-sell, and transformation initiatives (Cloud migration, AI, Digital).
Engage with C-level and senior executives to position business value.
Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with large deal structures.
Orchestrate internal virtual teams (PreSales, Customer Success, Partners, Professional Services).
Manage forecasting accuracy and quota achievement.
Build and leverage an ecosystem of partners and system integrators to consolidate existing account and develop new ones.
Identify competitive positioning strategies and win plans.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field or equivalent professional experience
Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in Enterprise software sales, with success in CCaaS, SaaS, or Cloud solutions .
Strong track record managing large, complex Enterprise accounts in Italy, as well as experience developing new markets.
Confidence engaging with C-level stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in long and complex sales cycles.
Strong negotiation and strategic account planning skills.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Willingness to travel as needed.
