Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Data Analyst role sits in a sustainability-focused SaaS business where analytics is closely tied to how subscription software is operated and improved. The remit spans business intelligence and reporting, suggesting work that connects product usage and operational activity to measurable outcomes, which is a common requirement in multi-region SaaS organisations serving a broad customer base.
From a SaaS career perspective, the role offers practical exposure to the mechanics of reliable analytics delivery rather than one-off analysis. Building automated pipelines with CI/CD, using Git for analytical code, and implementing data quality testing aligns with modern expectations for analytics teams supporting recurring reporting cycles and executive dashboards. Experience like this tends to transfer well across SaaS companies that need scalable, auditable reporting and consistent metric definitions.
The position is best suited to an early-career analyst who prefers structured work, careful documentation, and stakeholder-facing communication. It will appeal to someone who wants to strengthen core SQL-based analysis while also developing light data engineering habits that reduce reporting friction. Given the on-site requirement in Limerick with hybrid working, it fits professionals looking for in-office collaboration alongside focused individual delivery.
