About the Role
NinjaOne is seeking a talented and motivated Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our growing Enterprise organisation. As a Ninja Enterprise Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for the strategic technical relationship and functional aspects of the NinjaOne platform to prospects, users, and partners across APAC.
You will also work closely with the sales team to align on specific strategies before autonomously providing technical advice on the products and services on the pre-sales side.
Your role on the NinjaOne team will be influential in ensuring prospects and customers understand the NinjaOne platform and are equipped to best utilize our products. This role will be hybrid of home/Ninja Office/on location with customers and see you contributing and advocating across the company.
Your key stakeholders, that success is based on, include Enablement, Sales Leadership, Solutions Engineers, Product Management and Development. Reports to Sr. Director of Enterprise Solutions Engineering.
Location – Hybrid work arrangement in Sydney, Australia.
What You’ll be Doing
- Technical Expertise and Support
- Provide technical expertise and onboarding/implementation support to enterprise clients, explaining the functional and technical aspects of NinjaOne's products and services to partner teams as they relate to key customer infrastructure
- Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations for prospects and stakeholders
- Assist in resolving technical issues and answering complex product-related questions
- Liaise between Enterprise AE’s and Solutions team for additional technical assistance
- Sales Enablement
- Collaborate with enterprise partners and enablement teams to develop and execute sales strategies
- Fully engage in pre-planning steps (POC) and proactively interacting with customers to complete and prepare
- Partner with Enablement teams to create and deliver technical training sessions to enhance partner knowledge and capabilities
- Support the development of sales collateral and technical documentation for partner use
- Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Enterprise partners, serving as a trusted technical advisor
- Work closely with the Enterprise Account Managers to maintain customer “Pulse” and pursue new sales opportunities
- Act as advocate and liaison for Support needs taking initiative to educate processes and keep customers informed
- Participate in partner events, trade shows, and conferences to promote NinjaOne's solutions
- Market Intelligence
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies
- Provide feedback to product management teams on partner and customer needs
- Share knowledge of issues and corresponding resolutions or workarounds with partner teams (including, but not limited to, the creation of new knowledge base articles/solutions and procedures
- Other duties as needed.
About You
- 5+ years' Sales Engineering experience, ideally in an Enterprise environment (min 5 years in ESE, 10 in SE)
- Value selling background
- Strong technical proficiency in Windows systems, IT infrastructure, and working knowledge of Linux/Mac
- Solid understanding of networking and security concepts
- Experience with RMM, ITSM, or similar tools is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Customer-first mindset with strong relationship-building skills, in-person and virtually
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask, prioritise by customer impact, and operate within defined processes
- Self-motivated and driven, able to work independently and within global teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity and proactively clarifies needs and expectations
- Adaptable lifelong learner who embraces new technologies and change
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (preferred, not required)
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, partner engagements, and events
