Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This role stands out in a SaaS context because it is anchored in operational automation rather than public product surface area. Building internal platforms that allocate scarce resources and schedule work at scale is a common bottleneck for services-enabled SaaS, and it tends to demand the same rigor as customer-facing systems. The stated shift from manual allocation to AI-assisted staffing highlights a product phase where workflow design, data correctness, and trust in automation become central.
For a SaaS engineering career, the work maps to durable themes: translating messy real-world processes into software, designing interfaces for high-volume decision making, and pairing them with backend services that can support real-time, data-heavy experiences. The combination of React UI challenges such as timelines and grids with Kotlin/Spring logic and performance tuning is the kind of fullstack scope that transfers well across SaaS companies that run complex internal operations.
It is best suited to an engineer who likes owning end-to-end outcomes and making pragmatic tool choices, including selective use of AI coding assistants without surrendering engineering judgment. The emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and technical strategy suggests a fit for someone comfortable shaping patterns and standards, not only delivering tickets.

Job Description
Superside is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Staffing team. Our goal is to ensure the right creative talent is matched to the right projects in an automated way. This drives delivery and service quality for our customers by having the right creative talent matched to the right project in a predictable manner.
Throughout 2026 we are moving from manual allocation to automated, AI-assisted staffing at scale. You’ll be building interfaces and business logic in our internal tools that make it easy to manage availability and to match people and skills to projects in the best way.
We are looking for a builder who is proficient working across the entire stack, with a focus on the Frontend. You are a modern engineer that knows how to choose the right tool for any given job and feels comfortable across multiple programming languages and domains. You know when and where to leverage AI tools to move faster, but have the expertise to stay in control and implement things manually when that’s the best option.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of secure, scalable features focused on staffing automation, resource management, and complex scheduling interfaces.
- Architect and build performant UIs (e.g., interactive timelines, real-time grids) using React, while ensuring the backend logic (Kotlin/Spring) supports them efficiently.
- Use agentic coding tools to accelerate boilerplate and refactoring, allowing you to focus on high-leverage architectural decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design to identify manual staffing workflows and turn them into seamless software experiences.
- Enhance system performance through UI optimizations (rendering large datasets) and database improvements.
- Drive technical strategy and best practices, specifically regarding how we visualize complex data for our operations team.
- Identify repeatable patterns across engagements and help codify them into reusable solutions and platforms.
What You'll Need to Succed
- 6+ years of full stack development experience, with strong expertise in FE framework. Superside uses React on the FE and Kotlin with Spring Boot on the BE, so these are beneficial.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system development.
- Deep knowledge of testing strategies, including unit, functional, and end-to-end testing. You know where, when and how to test a feature.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges creatively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Self-motivated and autonomous, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Excitement for AI-powered product development, with a desire to integrate AI-driven automation into creative workflows.
- Proactive use of agentic coding tools as part of your workflow, while always staying accountable and in control of your output and contributions
