Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Director of Professional Services role stands out because it sits at the intersection of productized SaaS revenue and services-led delivery, within a Salesforce OEM context aimed at mid-sized and enterprise customers. In SaaS, that hybrid model often determines whether implementations reinforce retention and expansion or become a drag on margins and customer outcomes. The remit signals a company stage where operational discipline in delivery is becoming a primary lever for scaling.
For a SaaS career, the work maps closely to recurring challenges seen across B2B platforms: turning delivery into a forecastable system, translating demand into capacity plans, and tightening the link between what Sales sells and what Services can deliver profitably. Ownership of backlog visibility, utilization, and contractor strategy builds fluency in metrics-driven operations that transfers across implementation, customer success operations, and revenue operations in SaaS environments.
The role is best suited to a leader who prefers hands-on operating over advisory-only work, and who is comfortable being accountable for day-to-day delivery mechanics as well as cross-functional alignment. It will fit someone who enjoys balancing customer commitments with commercial realities, and who can lead teams remotely while maintaining clear execution rhythms across Professional Services and Customer Care.

Job Description
This role is part of our Crosstalentteam, one of our growing brands at saas.group.
As a Salesforce OEM partner with a powerful, flexible platform tailored to mid-sized and large enterprises, Crosstalent combines SaaS revenue with a strong professional services component. Our remote-first, agile organization is profitable, growing, and well-positioned to scale.
Profile Overview
We are looking for an operational leader to join us as the Director of Professional Services. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the CEO and take full ownership of our Professional Services function within a dynamic SaaS environment. You will move beyond high-level consulting to be truly hands-on, organizing production timelines and ensuring our delivery machinery runs efficiently. Your primary goal is to systematize our backlog and manage the delicate balance of resources to drive profitability.
Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be:
- Systematize Production: Organize the timesheets of production and ensure production time is fully utilized and filled.
- Backlog Management: establish a systematic approach to cover the backlog for at least three months ahead.
- Resource Optimization: Actively manage resources by hiring or cutting contractors as needed to match demand.
- Commercial Alignment: Build a strong relationship with the sales leader to sell more hours and prioritize the most billable, lucrative deliveries.
Your responsibilities
- Service Delivery Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of professional services, ensuring PMs have clear timelines and that we get the most out of our billable production time.
- Resource Strategy: Manage the capacity planning and allocation of internal and external resources (contractors), ensuring we are agile and cost-effective.
- Operational Excellence: Bring structure by implementing systems that allow us to forecast and manage our delivery backlog systematically.
- Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales to identify opportunities for additional sales and ensure that sold projects are lucrative and deliverable.
- Team Leadership: Lead the Professional Services and Customer Care, fostering an interactive and cohesive culture.
- Customer Support Oversight: Shape the Customer Care function alongside Professional Services, ensuring efficient resolution of client inquiries and a seamless, high-quality post-sales experience.
What You bring to the table
- SaaS Leadership: Ideally a Professional Services leader with previous PMO or Project Management experience; specific experience in a SaaS environment is a must.
- Operational Mindset: You are not just a consultant; you are operational enough to dig into the details and manage day-to-day execution.
- Language Skills: You are Fluent in both French and English (Required).
- Commercial Acumen: You possess the ability to prioritize billable work and collaborate with sales to drive revenue.
- Soft Skills: You are client-focused and interactive, capable of building and managing relationships in a remote setting with in-person meetings too.
- Domain Expertise: Knowledge of the Salesforce platform or HRIS solutions will be a great advantage.
What’s in it for You
- Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like.
- Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of flexibility to solve problems in your own way — with plenty of help from the team when you need it.
- Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable.
- Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around.
- Our network: We are a community of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals that regularly exchange ideas, knowledge, learning and expertise with each other internally.
- Flexible time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed.
