Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Channel-led growth remains a defining motion in B2B SaaS, and this Channel Account Manager II role sits directly in that engine. The listing points to a partner-first go to market approach in cybersecurity SaaS, where managed service providers and similar partners influence adoption, renewals, and expansion. With success tied to net and gross dollar retention, the work reflects how mature subscription businesses operationalise revenue through long-term partner performance rather than one-time transactions.
For a SaaS career path, this role builds durable operating skills around retention economics, partner enablement, and multi-threaded relationship management inside complex accounts. Owning expansion and renewal outcomes encourages fluency in metrics, forecasting discipline, and CRM hygiene, while the trusted-advisor emphasis develops the consultative layer that strong SaaS account managers carry across industries. Experience in a security product context also tends to sharpen the ability to translate technical value into commercial outcomes.
This position is best suited to professionals who prefer structured ownership of a portfolio and who enjoy influencing outcomes through partners rather than direct end customers. It fits someone comfortable balancing relationship depth with quota accountability, and who wants a role where performance is measured in recurring revenue outcomes and partner adoption over time.
