Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Head of Product role sits at a familiar SaaS inflection point where engagement work is treated as a commercial lever, not a surface-level UX exercise. The remit connects consumer experience design to activation, retention, and monetisation outcomes, reflecting how many subscription and usage-based products now run product strategy as a measurable growth system rather than a feature pipeline.
For a SaaS career, the standout value is the explicit linkage between product decisions and unit economics. Owning a roadmap tied to behavioural data, experimentation, and revenue metrics builds fluency in the language that senior SaaS leaders are increasingly expected to speak, especially as product organisations partner more closely with finance, analytics, and go-to-market teams. The emphasis on translating qualitative insight into hard KPIs also maps well to modern SaaS operating models built around funnels, cohorts, and lifecycle performance.
This role fits a product leader who prefers clear accountability for outcomes and is comfortable making trade-offs across design quality, growth impact, and profitability. It will resonate most with someone who enjoys cross-functional alignment, coaching senior talent, and applying engagement instincts from consumer patterns to recurring-revenue products.

Job Description
Head of Product - Grow and Engage
Users don’t just use products , they feel them. We need a leader who ties deep consumer instincts and UX excellence directly to business outcomes and P&L performance. Someone who builds experiences that hook, retain, and grow revenue, not just look good on a deck.
What you’ll own - Impact first
- Shape the Consumer Experience
- Define and own the consumer experience roadmap.
- Uncover friction and opportunity through user research, data, and qualitative insight.
- Align UX choices with strategic business outcomes: activation, retention, monetisation, revenue growth.
- Translate UX into Hard KPIs
- Set clear goals and success metrics tied to growth, engagement, and revenue.
- Drive decisions with a mix of behavioural data, user studies, and instinct.
- You don’t ship features. You ship results.
- Product + P&L Partnership
- Co-own product areas with discernible revenue impact.
- Partner with Finance, Business, Marketing, Analytics to tie product decisions into unit economics and profitability.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams
- Inspire and develop Senior PMs & UX Designers
- Break down silos between design, engineering, and GTM functions.
- Instil a test-and-learn culture that moves fast without losing focus.
- Bring Gaming / Social-First Instinct
- Approach experience design with engagement instincts honed in social, gaming, marketplace or similar consumer ecosystems.
- Translate micro-moments into habit loops that map to business durability.
What we’re looking for - Non-negotiables
Consumer product pedigree
- 8+ years building consumer software at high-growth tech companies — social, gaming, marketplaces, consumer apps.
- Demonstrated success launching products that moved metrics, not just shipped UX polish.
UX sensibility + data fluency
- You judge designs by impact. You articulate why an experience works — not just what it feels like.
- You balance qualitative nuance with quantitative rigor.
Business & P&L acumen
- Comfortable owning product economics: pricing, retention curves, funnel analysis. You speak the language of revenue without betraying UX integrity.
Leadership & execution
- Proven track record leading teams to outcomes, not output.
- You simplify complexity and make hard trade-offs confidently.
Communication
- Clear, structured, and direct. You influence without authority and drive alignment across stakeholders.
