Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Partner sales remains a core SaaS growth lever, and this Senior Partner Sales Manager role sits squarely in that ecosystem. Genesys operates a cloud platform in the customer experience category, where indirect channels and technology services distributors can materially influence pipeline creation and deal velocity. The remit signals a mature partner motion with defined programs, enablement expectations, and regional accountability rather than an ad hoc alliances function.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds durable operating skills that translate across platform businesses: shaping partner strategy, driving joint demand generation, and aligning field sales with external routes to market. The emphasis on opportunity qualification and forecasting discipline reflects how subscription companies manage predictability, and the cross functional coordination element mirrors how SaaS revenue organizations connect product marketing, solutions, and operations around a shared pipeline model.
This role tends to suit professionals who prefer influence through ecosystems over direct selling alone, and who are comfortable balancing relationship depth with measurable commercial outcomes. It also fits someone who enjoys structured cadence with partners, clear target ownership, and navigating internal stakeholders to remove friction in registrations and engagements. Experience in adjacent cloud categories like CX, UCaaS, or contact center software aligns naturally with the domain context described.
