Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Strategic Event Technology Manager role stands out in the SaaS ecosystem because it sits at the intersection of go to market execution and systems ownership. In a cloud platform business like Snowflake, large first party events function as product education, partner enablement, and pipeline influence at scale, and the technology layer determines how measurable and repeatable that motion becomes across regions and audiences.
Career wise, the position builds durable SaaS operating skills: selecting and implementing specialized tools, designing QA and contingency processes, and translating stakeholder needs into reliable workflows. Ownership of registration, agenda, meeting, and lead capture systems also creates a practical foundation in data governance and attribution, which are central to modern SaaS marketing operations. Managing multiple vendors and integrations further strengthens the ability to run complex programs with clear inputs, outputs, and performance signals.
This role is best suited to an operator who prefers structured planning, tight coordination, and precision under real world constraints like onsite execution and travel. It fits someone who enjoys being the connective layer between marketing, sales, and external partners, and who is motivated by making event programs more scalable through process, tooling, and analytics rather than creative direction alone.
