Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This GTM Analyst role sits at the intersection of revenue operations and analytics in a B2B SaaS company selling into large enterprises, where multi-step buying committees and longer sales cycles make operational clarity a competitive advantage. The remit spans the full prospect to customer lifecycle, with a clear emphasis on connecting systems, process, and measurement across marketing, sales, and post-sale execution. The “AI-first” orientation signals a modern RevOps approach, where automation and assisted analysis are becoming part of the standard GTM toolkit rather than an add-on.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds durable skills in funnel governance, attribution thinking, and pipeline mechanics that translate across most subscription businesses. Exposure to territory modeling, deal desk workflows, and CPQ-adjacent processes also provides a practical view of how SaaS revenue is packaged, priced, and operationalized. The cross-functional partnering described is relevant for practitioners aiming to grow from reporting into owning operating rhythms and decision support.
This position tends to fit professionals who prefer structured problem-solving, enjoy making metrics usable for stakeholders, and are comfortable working through ambiguity in tooling and process. It also suits candidates who want hands-on ownership while gradually expanding into more strategic GTM operations scope in a SaaS environment.

Job Description We are seeking a Manager of GTM Operations to drive revenue operations across the prospect and customer lifecycle. Reporting to the Director of GTM Operations, you will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Finance, and Revenue teams to execute an AI-first GTM model and drive growth and efficiency for Alation. As a key contributor on the GTM Operations team, you will play a hands-on and increasingly strategic role in powering Alation's pipeline engine, operational rigor, and customer engagement. Note: This is a hybrid role requiring you to work Tuesdays & Thursdays out of our Chennai office. Local candidates only. What You'll Do Build and optimize sales and revenue operations processes — executing the operating model, systems, and workflows that connect marketing, sales, and deployment teams into a single, accountable revenue engine. Help reimagine the end-to-end go-to-market motion as AI-native — embedding intelligence across marketing, sales, and customer workflows to drive faster, higher-quality pipeline. Own day-to-day full-funnel pipeline analytics and reporting — connecting marketing spend to sourced and influenced revenue; surface insights on funnel velocity, conversion rates, CAC, and pipeline contribution. Operate, optimize, and automate across the GTM stack — deploying AI tools to eliminate manual workflows, accelerate campaigns, and drive faster, smarter decision-making (Marketo, Salesforce, and more). Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Marketing & others to drive projects. Support sales territory modeling — partnering with Sales and Finance on segmentation, coverage planning, and territory carving to maximize rep productivity and market coverage. Manage deal desk operations — owning quoting, pricing governance, order management, and CPQ processes to ensure fast, accurate, and compliant deal execution. Act as the operational connective tissue between Marketing, Finance, and GTM teams — standardizing processes, aligning on shared KPIs, and driving operational consistency across the revenue organization. Your Background 5–8 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related GTM function in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. Consumption business experience is a plus. Hands-on expertise and experience in serving as an administrator for GTM tools such as Salesforce. Hands-on experience applying AI and automation tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to GTM operations and a genuine drive to push further. Strong execution experience in RevOps — including operating model implementation, funnel governance, lead management, and cross-functional alignment. Familiarity with sales territory design and compensation plan administration, including quota modeling, accelerators, SPIFs, and coverage planning. Working knowledge of deal desk processes — quoting, pricing, order management, and CPQ tools. Metrics and data-driven; hands-on with first-principles thinking. Ability to build multi-touch attribution models and translate complex pipeline data into clear, executive-ready insights. Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across time zones and with senior stakeholders in the US. How We Work Alation's values shape everything we do, and we look for people who embody them: Raise the Bar — you hold yourself and your work to a high standard, and you push the team to do the same. Move with Urgency — you bias toward action, ship fast, and learn faster. Win Through Results — you measure success by outcomes, not effort or activity. Build Exceptional Teams — you make the people around you better through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and respectful partnership. Act Like the Owner You Are — you don't wait to be told. You see what needs to happen and you make it happen. We're looking for someone with a track record of success, a team-first mindset, and the drive to do the best work of their career at a company where data intelligence is becoming the foundation of enterprise AI. #LI-SR1 Alation, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
