Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Enterprise Performance Management sits at an increasingly important intersection in SaaS, where finance teams expect cloud software to standardise planning, consolidation, and reporting across complex organisations. A manager role in this space signals work that is closer to repeatable delivery and measurable outcomes than bespoke consulting, with day to day decisions shaped by how EPM platforms are implemented, integrated, and adopted.
For a SaaS career path, the standout value is the combination of people leadership and operational improvement. Managing consultants while tracking performance metrics builds a transferable toolkit used across SaaS services and customer-facing organisations: capacity planning, quality control, stakeholder alignment, and continuous process optimisation. Familiarity with major EPM ecosystems also creates durable domain leverage, since many SaaS businesses run on similar FP&A and close requirements even when the underlying tools differ.
This role tends to suit a manager who prefers structured execution and coaching over individual delivery, and who enjoys translating system and finance concepts into team priorities. It is a strong match for professionals looking to deepen leadership scope in SaaS adjacent delivery functions while staying close to business critical workflows and cross functional coordination.
