Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This internship sits at the intersection of two accelerating SaaS concerns: enterprise adoption of generative AI and the need to prevent sensitive data leakage across third party tools. Work on AI Data Loss Prevention and prompt redaction reflects a broader shift in SaaS from perimeter security toward in product safeguards that operate directly inside everyday workflows such as browser extensions.
For a SaaS career, the role offers exposure to how security features are operationalised as product capabilities, not just policies. Building and maintaining an ML supply chain, improving data collection and labelling tooling, and structuring web extracted data are experiences that translate across many SaaS teams working on applied ML, observability, and governance. The focus on deployment constraints in a client environment also mirrors real world SaaS tradeoffs around performance, privacy, and reliability.
The position best fits someone nearing graduation who prefers hands on engineering across multiple layers rather than a narrow research track. It suits candidates motivated by practical security problems in user facing contexts, comfortable collaborating with software and machine learning engineers, and interested in learning through iterative tooling and platform improvements in a hybrid, office anchored setup.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.

Are you a future intern passionate about unraveling complex challenges within the ever-evolving and exciting field of credential security? If so, join Dashlane internship program and shape the future of security!
About the role:
As an intern as Dashlane, you will be part of the Analysis & Contextual Experience team. You will work on the AI Data Loss Prevention (DLP) project, a pioneering industry solution that creates a frictionless security layer for tools like ChatGPT or Gemini. Your work will involve building smart redaction to automatically tokenize PII and secrets in prompts, while developing a seamless workflow that re-injects real data into AI responses to ensure enterprise security and regulatory compliance without compromising the user experience. You will tackle these software engineering challenges in close collaboration with our team of Software and Machine Learning engineers.
Location:
You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. At Dashlane, we embrace a hybrid culture that combines the best of both worlds: the creativity and energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Our model is designed to strengthen team connections while supporting individual productivity and work-life balance. To maximize collaboration, we come together in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility for focused work.
At Dashlane you will:
Work on the improvements and maintenance of our machine learning supply chain to build models embedded inside a web extension. This will imply:
- Improving internal tools to collect and label data. Participate to create a GUI for automatic labelling of data
- Improve visibility and accessibility on data used to train our ML models
- Help to structure raw data extracted from the web into structured data ready for training
- Explore AI deployment in the context of a web extension with it's own security and performance specifications (ex: Zero-knowledge architecture)
Requirements:
- You are studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Security or similar
- You are looking for an end of studies internship
- You have experience* with GitHub, Gitlab or similar
- You have experience* with Typescript/Javascript.
- You have a strong interest in security topics and in AI
- You are fluent in English (written and verbal)
*This experience can be academic, personal projects, etc. Make sure to refer to them in your CV!
We're Also Looking For:
- Have a solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
- Strong interest in security and AI topics
- Able to take an HTML & CSS web page and extract information to structure it and store it.
- Someone technically flexible that can intervene in various subjects (Server, Front, CI)
- We do not require a deep knowledge of each subject, more an ability to work on the different side without being lost
What Dashlane offers you:
- Company wide well-being days (one per quarter)
- Team building & social events - weekly lunch in the office and monthly happy hour
- The chance to learn and grow in an international environment, a dynamic office, and a team full of experts keen to collaborate
