Job Description
The Operations Expert is a key individual contributor within the Evaluation Services (EVS) Operations Support team, reporting to the Director of Operations. This individual will act as the primary coordinator for cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and digital transformation within EVS. The role focuses on bridging the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and deliver measurable value to the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination & Execution
- Plan and oversee the end-to-end execution of core operational projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on goals and timelines.
- Coordinate internal resources and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Tech, Product, and Business units) to resolve dependencies and resource constraints.
- Monitor project progress, identify/resolve/escalate potential bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions for process improvement and automation to enhance team scalability and reduce manual effort.
- Maintain robust project documentation and governance standards to ensure long-term sustainability of implemented solutions.
- Data Governance
- Act as the business lead for data-related initiatives, ensuring that operational logic is correctly translated into technical requirements for reporting and analytics.
- Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communication across regional and global teams.
- Prepare professional status reports and executive briefings to provide visibility into project health and risks.
- Support change management efforts by ensuring team members are trained and equipped to adopt new tools and workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of experience in Project Management or a related operational role, with a strong focus on operational excellence topics (e.g. productivity improvement, capacity management, process optimization, reporting) in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using Agile frameworks and Agentic AI-based systems.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to understand technical environments (Salesforce, BI tools - Tableau-, Gemini, Claude or proprietary back-office systems) and translate business needs into technical specs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Education: University degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
