Region: Central (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland) + Benelux
Reports to: Head of EMEA Partner & Alliances
Team: 5 Partner Sales Managers (VAR + GSI/STP)
Travel: ~30–50%
Mission
Lead and scale the Genesys partner ecosystem across Central Europe and Benelux, driving pipeline, bookings, and strategic growth through both VAR partners and Global System Integrators / Technology Alliances (AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
This role combines people leadership, partner strategy, and execution discipline to accelerate AI-driven Experience Orchestration adoption across the region.
What you’ll do
1. Regional partner strategy & growth
- Define and execute the regional partner strategy across:
- VAR ecosystem
- GSI & Tech Alliances (STP)
- Prioritize:
- key partners
- industry plays
- AI-led use cases
- Build and drive joint business plans with top partners
2. Team leadership & performance
- Recruit, Lead and develop a team of 5 Partner Sales Managers
- Set clear targets on:
- pipeline generation
- bookings
- partner productivity
- Drive a culture of:
- ownership
- forecast discipline
- execution excellence
3. Pipeline & revenue accountability
- Own regional targets for:
- partner-sourced and influenced pipeline
- bookings growth (YoY)
- Ensure:
- strong pipeline coverage
- forecasting accuracy
- deal hygiene
4. Go-to-market & co-sell execution
- Orchestrate co-sell motions between:
- Genesys Account Executive
- partner sellers
- alliance ecosystems
- Drive:
- account targeting (account triads)
- deal registration discipline
- pipeline acceleration
5. Partner enablement & activation
- Ensure structured enablement across:
- Drive adoption of:
- Genesys Cloud + AI use cases
- integrations with AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow
- Scale partner capabilities (certifications, COEs, delivery readiness)
6. Governance & executive alignment
- Run:
- QBRs with top partners
- internal pipeline reviews
- Build strong C-level relationships across key partners
- Ensure:
- performance tracking
- MDF governance
- compliance with program standards
What success looks like
- Strong pipeline generation and coverage across all partner types
- Double-digit YoY growth in partner-sourced & influenced bookings
- Increased partner productivity:
- enabled sellers / SCs
- deal registrations
- win rate
- Clear AI pipeline and adoption growth
- Strong executive alignment and partner satisfaction
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise SaaS / cloud partner sales or alliances
- Proven experience managing:
- VAR ecosystems
- GSI / Tech alliances
- Strong track record in:
- pipeline creation
- co-sell execution
- forecast ownership
- Experience leading high-performing teams
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management
- Fluent German and English required
Core competencies
