Legal Intern Brazil (Estágio em Direito)

Role Overview:
Start your legal career by gaining hands-on experience in a global technology company that is shaping the future of customer experience through AI, cloud solutions, and innovation. In this role, you will support the Genesys Legal team in Brazil, contributing to daily legal operations and gaining exposure to different business needs and issues our legal team faces every day.
As a Legal Intern, you will work closely with experienced legal professionals and internal business partners, supporting commercial contracts, sales and business-related legal matters, legal document management, and cross-functional projects. This is an excellent opportunity for law students who are motivated, organized, curious, and eager to learn in a collaborative, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Legal team in Brazil with commercial contracts and business-related legal matters.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, developing, organizing, and managing legal documents.
Support legal operations related to sales, internal business requests, and cross-functional projects.
Help maintain legal files, records, templates, and documentation in an organized and accurate manner.
Use tools such as Word, Excel, Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Teams, and other internal systems to support legal workflows.
Build effective working relationships with internal clients and business partners across different teams and countries.
Support the Legal team in promoting best practices, process consistency, and compliance with internal policies.
Collaborate with team members on different legal matters, gaining exposure to the practical work of an in-house legal department.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Law, ideally in the 3rd year / 5th semester or later.
Availability to work under the standard internship schedule permitted by Brazilian legislation.
Availability to work in a hybrid model.
Intermediate English skills, including the ability to read legal and business documents, write emails, and participate in meetings with colleagues from other countries in Latin America.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
It’s a Plus If You Have:
Familiarity with Salesforce, SharePoint, contract management tools, or legal document management systems.
Interest in technology, cloud services, AI, customer experience, and the legal challenges of a global business environment.
Spanish language skills.
