Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Work on agentic AI product experiences is becoming a distinct frontier in SaaS, particularly for B2B platforms where planning, forecasting, and decision support sit at the core of customer workflows. This Lead Product Designer role stands out because it centers on defining interaction models for AI-driven features, not just refining established UI patterns. The France or London location signal also suggests proximity to product and engineering hubs where AI capability is being operationalised inside mature SaaS products.
From a SaaS career perspective, the remit combines three high-leverage tracks: end-to-end product design on complex software, applied user research that informs roadmap direction, and design leadership through team guidance and quality standards. Experience translating technical constraints into usable narratives is especially portable across SaaS companies shipping AI features, where trust, transparency, and controllability increasingly shape adoption.
This role suits a senior designer who prefers owning ambiguous problems, setting a design vision, and partnering closely with product management rather than operating as a service function. It will resonate with someone comfortable balancing hands-on craft with mentorship, and who wants their portfolio to demonstrate both interaction innovation and shipped outcomes in B2B environments.
