Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Business Development Representative role sits at a classic SaaS go-to-market intersection: turning marketing activity into qualified sales conversations, supported by a defined toolset and process. In a data integrity software context, discovery and messaging tend to be closely tied to business outcomes and risk reduction, which makes early-stage commercial work more consultative than purely transactional. The APAC remit also signals exposure to varied buyer environments and stakeholder expectations common in regional SaaS selling.
From a SaaS career perspective, the role builds durable foundations in pipeline creation, territory research, and disciplined CRM hygiene, all of which translate across product-led, sales-led, and hybrid motions. Regular collaboration with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Operations creates a view into how SaaS revenue systems are designed and improved, including feedback loops on lead quality and qualification. The emphasis on using AI tools in daily workflows adds a modern layer of productivity practice that is increasingly standard across SaaS teams.
This position is best suited to someone who enjoys structured prospecting, learning a product portfolio quickly, and iterating on messaging based on real market signals. It will fit professionals who prefer measurable outcomes, clear handoffs, and consistent documentation, and who want early responsibility within a repeatable SaaS sales motion.

We are seeking a software sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will open doors to new business across the APAC region. You will connect with prospective customers, follow up on marketing leads, and set up meetings for our Account Executive team. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to target the right people with the right message. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, learning quickly, and making a real impact. You will be part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, resilience, and growth.
What you will do:
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage new potential customers across the APAC region, working closely with Account Executives to generate qualified meetings.
- Follow up with inbound leads from marketing activities such as events, webinars, and digital campaigns, qualifying prospects and setting initial meetings for the sales team.
- Build product knowledge across Precisely’s portfolio so you can clearly articulate value to the right buyer, match solutions to pain points, and communicate what sets us apart.
- Use prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Lusha to identify and research contacts, building targeted outreach lists for your territory.
- Log all activities and interactions accurately in Salesforce and Outreach, keeping your pipeline up to date and providing visibility to your manager through weekly updates.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations to share feedback on lead quality and contribute ideas to improve the lead qualification process.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop new ways to raise awareness of Precisely’s products and services in your region.
- Leverage AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow to research accounts, personalise outreach, and work more efficiently.
- Participate in sales plays, product training, and team enablement sessions to continually sharpen your skills and stay current on Precisely’s go-to-market approach.
- Manage your own time and task load effectively, staying organised across multiple accounts and outreach sequences to hit your weekly and monthly targets.
What we are looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is welcome.
- 2 years experience in a business development, sales, or customer-facing role is preferred, though we are open to motivated candidates who are earlier in their career.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your message to different audiences and buying personas.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo is a plus but not required.
- Comfort using AI tools as part of your daily workflow, with a genuine interest in learning how to use them to work smarter.
- Travel is required: Yes – 1-2x per year for events and team meetings.
- Bonus skills - multilingual ability in Mandarin, or Bahasa.
