Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Regional Sales Engineer role sits at a common inflection point in SaaS cybersecurity: translating a cloud platform’s technical differentiation into customer confidence. CrowdStrike’s AI native security focus and broad customer base make the pre sales function especially consequential, because buying decisions hinge on risk, architecture, and operational fit rather than feature checklists. The Switzerland remote scope also reflects how enterprise security SaaS teams increasingly cover regions through distributed technical sellers.
For a SaaS career, the position builds durable experience at the intersection of product, revenue, and real world deployment. Sales Engineers in security develop a repeatable toolkit for discovery, technical validation, and executive level storytelling, while learning how SaaS platforms land in heterogeneous environments across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Exposure to cloud scale concepts, incident response language, and cross functional work with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering tends to transfer well across enterprise SaaS categories.
This role is best suited to professionals who enjoy being the technical bridge in customer conversations and can switch between deep diagnostics and clear communication. It will fit someone comfortable owning multiple engagements remotely, working with field teams, and engaging stakeholders up to C level. Candidates who value security domain depth alongside consultative selling will align naturally with the day to day.
