Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
In the SaaS ecosystem, compensation is a core operating lever because recurring revenue businesses rely on consistent hiring, clear role leveling, and scalable decision frameworks. This Senior Compensation Analyst role sits at the intersection of people analytics and business operations, with a remit that includes market benchmarking, job architecture, and global planning cycles, all areas that become more complex as a SaaS company expands across functions and geographies.
For SaaS career builders, the long-term value comes from developing a repeatable approach to data-driven program design and governance. Experience building dashboards, automating analyses with SQL or Python, and working from HRIS data translates well across product-led and enterprise SaaS environments where headcount planning and offer decisions are tightly coupled to growth targets. Exposure to pay equity and pay transparency initiatives also maps to an industry trend that is reshaping how SaaS companies communicate compensation internally and externally.
This role is best suited to professionals who prefer rigorous quantitative work paired with stakeholder advisory responsibilities. It will fit someone who enjoys turning ambiguous questions into models, templates, and decision-ready narratives, and who is comfortable partnering with Recruiting and business leaders on high-impact, time-bound cycles.

WHY JOIN OUR HUMAN RESOURCES COMPENSATION TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly respected and collaborative Snowflake HR organization. We are first and foremost a customer service organization. Our #1 objective is to support the business in achieving their goals. We operate situationally, not from an abundance of policies. This means there isn’t always a “one size fits all” approach to Compensation decisions. We are consultants and advisors and believe the business will make the best decision when presented with all the facts. There are times, however, when we do need to push back, requiring this leader to be a strong, confident communicator and a skilled negotiator.
Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Snowflake employees must abide by the company’s data security plan as an essential part of their duties. It is every employee's duty to keep customer information secure and confidential.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
