Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
EcoVadis operates in the enterprise SaaS segment, where platforms are embedded into core business workflows rather than used as standalone tools. This Account Manager role sits at the intersection of software adoption and sustainability-focused procurement, a domain where customers often need guidance to translate a product’s methodology into repeatable internal processes. Serving the DACH region also signals a commercially important market with buyers who expect structured communication and clear outcomes.
For a SaaS career, the position builds durable strengths in post-sale ownership: managing a defined book of business, running account planning, and partnering with Sales on renewals and expansion. The work naturally develops fluency in how SaaS value is measured over time, how usage and stakeholder alignment affect retention, and how customer feedback is routed into product improvement. Experience coordinating across teams like operations, sales, and product is especially transferable across B2B subscription businesses.
This role tends to suit professionals who prefer relationship-led work grounded in data and process, and who enjoy translating complex systems into practical next steps for customers. It is a strong match for someone comfortable operating in German and English and motivated by roles where customer outcomes and commercial continuity are closely linked.
