Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Managing Director role sits at the intersection of SaaS-style scaling and real-world operations, with a remit to establish a European region from scratch. While Beewise is positioned as an AI-enabled product company rather than a pure-play software vendor, the work resembles a regional GM mandate often seen in SaaS expansion: market entry, partner-led distribution, and translating a central product strategy into repeatable local execution across multiple countries.
For a SaaS career, the value is in building the muscle of international go-to-market design and operationalising a new territory. The role spans partnerships, commercial process ownership, and customer outcomes, offering a broad view of how adoption is created and sustained when the product touches regulated, seasonal, and relationship-driven industries. That combination can translate well to other SaaS businesses selling into complex verticals where deployment and ongoing success depend on ecosystem coordination.
This position will suit a senior operator who prefers autonomy, ambiguity, and direct accountability to the CEO. It aligns with professionals who enjoy building local infrastructure, working across languages and travel-heavy stakeholder networks, and bridging product, operations, and commercial decision-making in a region with diverse market dynamics.
