Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Head of System Engineering role stands out in the SaaS ecosystem because it sits at the intersection of product definition, verification, and delivery for a complex, multidisciplinary system that includes software and algorithms alongside hardware domains. Reporting into the VP R&D and working on site in Beit HaEmek, it signals a product organisation where system-level decisions and rigorous validation are central to shipping reliable releases and deployments.
For a long-term SaaS career, the value comes from building repeatable engineering governance that scales across multiple projects, not just individual features. Ownership of requirements traceability back to MRD, plus responsibility for verification methodologies and end to end development cycles, develops a toolkit that transfers well to SaaS environments that depend on disciplined release management, quality gates, and cross-functional execution across research, engineering, and operations.
This position is best suited to a senior leader who prefers structured problem solving and enjoys coordinating across many specialties while still driving hands-on technical direction. It will appeal to someone who wants people leadership combined with process design, and who is motivated by aligning architecture, validation, and delivery with real customer implementation constraints.
