Job Description

- Compensation: Our reps typically earn around $1,200 per week, with top performers earning $2,400 per week or more. No cap on earnings. The more you sell, the more you make. Paid weekly by direct deposit.
About the role
Modern Milkman is looking for field sales reps to join our Connecticut team. We deliver farm-fresh milk, dairy, and everyday essentials straight to people's doors, sourced from local farms including Oakridge Dairy in Ellington, CT. You'll be the face of the brand on the ground, winning new customers and introducing them to a better way to get groceries.
This role is predominantly door-to-door. Most of your time is spent on foot in neighborhoods across Connecticut, having real conversations on the doorstep and turning interest into sign-ups. You'll also represent us at weekend events like farmers markets, fairs, and community gatherings, and run street sales where it makes sense. Your earnings are tied directly to your results.
Key responsibilities
- Knock doors across Connecticut neighborhoods, starting genuine conversations about The Modern Milkman and what we deliver
- Build relationships and sign up new customers on the spot using our digital tools
- Represent the brand professionally and warmly at events and street activations alongside your door-to-door work
- Set up and break down the stand, displays, and signage when working events
- Capture leads, contact information, and feedback for the team to follow up
- Take ownership of your own targets and KPIs to grow your earnings
- Hit weekly sign-up targets and contribute to territory growth
- Look after your branded uniform, equipment, and kit, and return everything in good condition
- Communicate clearly with your manager about results, learnings, and anything you're seeing in the field

- Happy to be out and about on foot every day, in all weather
- Valid US driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Travel between neighborhoods and events across Connecticut is essential
- Full availability across the week, including some weekends for events
- Right to work in the United States
- Sales, events, hospitality, retail, or community engagement experience is a plus but not required. We'll train and support you
