Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This listing stands out because it reflects a common SaaS hiring pattern: building a pipeline for future start dates in a customer experience function. In subscription businesses, benefits guidance is not a one-time transaction but an ongoing service tied to renewals, enrollment cycles, and year-round support. A Licensed Dedicated Advisor role maps closely to how SaaS companies operationalise complex, regulated domains inside a product-led experience.
For SaaS career development, the work builds durable skills in consultative support, managing a defined client portfolio, and delivering outcomes against service standards. The emphasis on renewals and plan evaluation aligns with retention mechanics that matter in recurring revenue models, where customer trust and clarity directly influence longevity. Experience translating technical insurance concepts into accessible guidance also transfers well to other SaaS verticals that require domain expertise and high-stakes decision support.
This role tends to suit professionals who prefer structured client ownership, consistent relationship management, and process-driven delivery rather than purely reactive ticket handling. It is also a strong match for someone who values becoming a subject-matter resource within a CX organisation and is comfortable balancing autonomy with measurable service expectations in an in-office environment.

About the Role
As a Licensed Dedicated Advisor, you'll guide small business owners through one of the most important decisions they make for their teams: health benefits. You'll build lasting relationships with your clients, help them understand their options, and guide them through benefits decisions with clarity and confidence.
This is a high-impact role on a team of licensed benefits experts who serve as trusted partners to employers throughout the benefits life cycle.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary benefits contact for a portfolio of small group employer clients
- Guide clients through the full renewal process — from assessment of needs, plan evaluation, selection through enrollment support
- Proactively assess client needs and recommend coverage options (dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA) and plans (SGHI, Level Funded, LGHI) that best fit their teams
- Provide clear, approachable guidance on health insurance concepts via phone and email
- Ensure clients receive timely, accurate support that meets their needs throughout the year
- Meet SLAs and performance standards in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4+ years in a customer-facing role; health insurance or benefits experience preferred
- Active Life and Health Producer License
- Experience supporting a client portfolio or managing ongoing client relationships
- A track record of strong client retention and service delivery
- Clear communicator who can simplify complex benefits concepts
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and adapts well to change
