Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Full Stack Engineer II role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the intersection of product analytics and AI-native workflows, an area where many SaaS teams are actively rethinking how users explore data and trigger actions. The remit spans dashboards, natural language interfaces, collaboration, and automation, signalling a platform-style product rather than a narrow feature set. The onsite Bellevue setup also suggests close iteration loops between engineering and direct user feedback, which is common in earlier-stage SaaS product development.
From a SaaS career perspective, the role offers practice in building end-to-end, customer-facing surfaces where usability, performance, and data correctness meet. Working on AI-enabled analysis and “analytics-to-automation” patterns builds fluency with emerging SaaS primitives like LLM-assisted experiences, vector search, and agentic tooling, while still grounding delivery in standard full stack fundamentals. The emphasis on shipping with real user impact maps well to product-led SaaS environments where adoption and retention are shaped by small, frequent improvements.
This position is best suited to an engineer who prefers broad ownership over a single layer, and who is comfortable switching between discovery and implementation. It fits someone mid-career who wants to sharpen product judgment alongside technical execution, and who values hands-on collaboration with customers as part of the build cycle.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.

As a mid-level engineer, you'll own meaningful product surfaces end to end. You'll move fluidly between talking to customers and writing code, between designing solutions and shipping them. You bring judgment alongside skill — you know when to move fast, when to ask questions, and when to push back.

- Smart data preparation and enrichment
- Natural language interfaces for analytics
- Real-time collaboration tools
- Analytics-to-automation workflows
Who We're Looking For

Customer Obsessed**** — There's no barrier between you and our users. You have strong product sense and think like a founder. You're comfortable jumping on customer calls, gathering feedback, and translating that directly into what you build.
Velocity Driven — You move fast. You learn fast. You ship fast. You understand that velocity is a feature. You're comfortable with iteration, learning from failures, and pivoting quickly.
Passionate Builders**** — You love what you do. There's fire in your belly for building something meaningful. You want to be on a mission and be part of something that transforms how people work with data.
