Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Business Development Representative role sits at a mature, global SaaS vendor building cloud software for operationally complex, regulated industries. That context matters in SaaS because demand generation and qualification often depend on translating a platform’s value into concrete workflow outcomes, especially when the product touches compliance, optimisation, and data-driven decision making.
For a SaaS sales career, the position offers durable fundamentals: structured lead qualification, territory-based prospecting, and close alignment with marketing and account executives. Working within an EMEA sales development setup and logging activity in a system like Salesforce builds repeatable pipeline discipline that carries across most subscription businesses, particularly those with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
The role best suits someone who prefers measurable output, enjoys research-led outreach, and is comfortable building talk tracks that bridge technical and non-technical audiences. It also fits professionals who want to deepen fluency in multilingual, cross-regional selling and who value clear handoffs and feedback loops between marketing and sales as part of how SaaS revenue teams operate.
