Job Description

As a Care Professional, your responsibilities may include:

Companionship: Spending quality time with clients, having conversations and supporting their hobbies and interests.
Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs.
Home Help: Helping with light housekeeping, laundry, ironing, shopping and keeping the home tidy.
Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing meals and encouraging healthy eating.
Medication Reminders: Providing reminders in line with the client's care plan.
Appointments and Outings: Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities and local outings.
Specialist Support: Supporting clients living with dementia, Alzheimer's and other age-related conditions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential.
A caring, compassionate and patient approach.
Good communication and listening skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with clients.
Reliable, punctual and well organised.
Able to work independently and follow care instructions.
Flexible and willing to learn.
Good personal hygiene and a professional appearance.
Ability to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
