The Product Security organization ensures that Snowflake products are built and shipped with the highest security. The Employee Production Access team in the Product Security org will manage and secure employee access to the Snowflake production platform.
In this role, you will hire new talent, mentor and grow team members, and define the team culture. You will work with cross-functional partners to define the multi-year strategy and lead the implementation of employee production access management solutions at Snowflake. You will oversee the design and implementation of new processes and access control pipelines to ensure the security of our platform. This is a unique opportunity to bootstrap and build a new initiative that is core to the success of Snowflake’s business as a whole.

AS ENGINEERING MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Hire top technical talent, manage and mentor team members
Partner with product, security, and engineering teams to build a strategic roadmap for scalable employee production access controls at Snowflake
Work directly with cross-functional leaders to illustrate risks and guide business decisions related to employee production access
Oversee the design and implementation of necessary tools and services for managing and securing employee production access
Lead and manage team’s priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
OUR IDEAL ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL HAVE:
2+ years of experience managing a security or software engineering team focused on access control or identity management
In-depth knowledge of access control solutions, cloud security, application security, network security, and/or infrastructure security
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience designing, testing, and maintaining security solutions and/or access management pipelines.
Experience building large-scale pipelines and infrastructure for managing and auditing employee access to production environments.
Knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols, and applied cryptography.
