Job Summary - Analyst accounting (Fresher)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst (Fresher) to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world business environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Work Location: Bangalore
Work Timings: 2:30-11:30PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accurate financial data entry.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation.
- Conduct variance analysis on financial statements to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in external audits by preparing financial documents and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and efficiency.
- Analyze expense reports and assist in cost control initiatives.
Stay updated on industry regulations, tax laws, and best practices in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Powerpoint, Word etc)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, and reporting).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic project experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
- Basic knowledge of taxation, compliance, and financial forecasting.
- Familiarity with automation tools and ERP systems is an advantage.
