The Spotify Editorial team is looking for a Head of Nashville. We are looking for an experienced leader, with deep expertise in music strategy and management. This is a person with passion for music, audience development, and a commitment to innovation. This role will oversee a team of curators across Country & Christian genres.

What You'll Do- Develop and lead editorial strategy for the Nashville music team.
- Manage a team of editors.
- Curate playlists and assist the team in their own curation.
- Lead cross-functional projects from an editorial perspective.
- Listen to music and identify trends.
- Use cultural expertise to build new programming efforts.
- Read data to understand the value of the team’s work.
- Provide a strong, unbiased editorial voice to create a first-class user experience.
Who You Are- 10+ years of experience in music programming/curation, or in an audience-focused role, is required.
- Innovative problem solver with an eye towards the future.
- Experience managing teams of curators and creatives.
- A people manager who knows how to create team culture.
- Experience crafting and developing editorial strategy.
- Knowledgeable about current and past music trends in Country & Christian genres.
- A keen sense of what music is appropriate for any situation.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills.
- Good communicator and team player who can easily work cross-functionally.
- The ability to comprehend and efficiently respond to analytics.
- A strong understanding of, and experience with, Spotify as a user and fan.
- A strong propensity to take initiative and absolutely thrive on change.
- Ability to travel when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Where You'll Be- This role is based in Nashville.
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.

The United States base range for this position is $120,105.00 - 171,578.00 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance.
