Solutions Consultant
Job Profile:
The Solutions Consultant must support the pre-sales of Genesys products, both through direct models with the sales team and through indirect models supporting partners.
Some of the skills specific to the role are:
-In-depth technical & Functional knowledge of the Genesys products.
- Services and communicate this knowledge to technical and non-technical customers.
- Identify pain points in the customers' current operations and prescribe product-based solutions.
- Advise on complex system integration activities.
- Supporting generation events from technical, functional, and business perspectives with valuable messages about why you should consider Genesys as your strategic partner.
The job family is comprised of Solution Architects and Solution Consulting where: Solution Architect roles are responsible for Systems Integration Consulting for the integration of complex technology solutions and architecture. Sales Engineers roles are responsible for providing pre sales technical support and specialize in providing technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations and configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot the Genesys product. Solution Consulting roles are responsible for providing pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products, applications, services, and solutions.
Activities include:
- Work at RFx positioning the capabilities of Genesys products.
- Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain the organization's products and services;
- Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide sales support;
- Providing pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products, applications, services, and solutions;
- Identifying, developing, and customizing applications/systems architecture or process designs for integration of customer's with high/low complex technology solutions and integrating architecture;
- Identifying areas for improvement in customer processes and effectively prescribing solutions;
- Support value analysis exercises such as benefit benchmarking, ROI calculations, TCO, and business cases in conjunction with the client and their peers.
- Supporting sales teams during the project/solution contracting phase.
- Helping to extend knowledge to the partner ecosystem in activities ranging from innovation, new products, best practices, among others.
