We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Continuous Integration team within the Engineering System organization at Snowflake. You'll help build a world-class developer platform powering the Snowflake Data Cloud.
Your Role
You'll develop tools that enable our engineers to effectively interact with CI results, detect and resolve failures, and gain insights into code health. Working alongside experts in distributed systems and cross-cloud development, you'll evolve our developer infrastructure to be elastic, scalable, and high-performing while maintaining simplicity.
Our Mission
We empower Snowflake engineers to easily access and derive insights from CI results provided by our internal SnowCI platform. Your contributions will help maintain high-quality codebases across the organization.

Your responsibilities
Develop and extend features for our internal continuous integration platform
Take full ownership of your assigned work items – from understanding problems through designing solutions, public presentations to production deployments.
Help deliver high-quality software rapidly within the team
Participate in rotation-based on-call support for internal clients when needed
We're Looking For
Strong problem-solving skills and solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, distributed systems)
At least 2 years of industry experience developing tools and backend services
Proven ability to work autonomously with effective technical execution
Fluency in at least one of: Python, Golang, or TypeScript
Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written/verbal English
Bonus Points For
Experience with enterprise-grade build systems (e.g., Bazel)
Familiarity with public cloud environments and Kubernetes
Interest in distributed systems (scalability, reliability, concurrency, security)
Background working with microservices architecture
