About the Role
This is a high-leverage, cross-functional role for a sharp, analytical operator who knows how to turn growth strategy into execution while being fast, focused, and test-driven. This is a high impact, high accountability role.
Palm users are called Members as we are building the platform for them first and foremost.
This role is responsible for running the engine behind Palm’s direct Member growth. This role requires great communication as Palm is a writing culture as well as an obsession on distilling information to find root causes that turn into actionable projects. Palm sits on top of hundreds of millions of data points that make experimentation endless.
This role requires a doer who rolls up their sleeves, builds the plan, pulls in the necessary resources, spins up the test, and iterates fast. Someone who’s comfortable in dashboards, proficient in AI tools, and moves fast without sacrificing quality.
What You Will Do
- Own the planning and execution of Palm’s GTM & Direct Member Growth roadmap from acquisition experiments to signup and onboarding flow optimizations.
- Build project plans and GTM calendars with clear milestones, owners, and timelines to keep priorities moving week to week.
- Coordinate across functions (GTM, product, design) to keep everyone moving in sync
- Track and improve key growth KPIs, including Member CAC, free-to-paid conversion, Business Lookup funnel conversion, Member engagement, etc.
- Run weekly GTM sprints, including planning meetings, retros, and async updates.
- Launch and iterate on landing pages, email flows, and product hooks with support from Palm’s design team and AI
- Communicate early & often
- Manage across Palm’s systems - Linear, Google Docs, Notion, etc. to make visibility and accountability easy.
- Track progress and hold timelines sacred - you make sure the trains run on time!
- Support content & copy efforts for GTM - light content writing/editing (landing page headings, emails, ads), and working with internal AI prompting and Palm teammates to get it out the door.
- Measure and test - support GTM experiments with clear hypotheses, reporting, and continuous iteration
About You
1. Growth Execution & Program Ownership
- Great at turning growth goals into clear sprints, milestones, and accountable workstreams
- You’ve led multi-threaded programs across product, design, engineering, and GTM and you know how to keep velocity high without losing quality
- You run planning, backlog grooming, async standups, and retros like a pro
- You’re fluent in tools like Linear, Notion, and Google Docs and you make visibility effortless for everyone involved
- You are an expert communicator understanding the nuance of format,message and timing
- Thinks like a program operator: structured, detail-obsessed, and organized by default.
- You collaborate and take feedback well, knowing you are part of a larger team and search for the answers wherever they come
2. Data-Literate & Experiment-Oriented
- You speak KPI’s & data fluently i.e. CAC, LTV, free-to-paid conversion, funnel drop off, and engagement
- You know how to set up tracking implementation, define requirements and createreporting dashboards using tools like PostHog, Amplitude, GA, or Retool.
- You craft hypotheses before you test and know how to balance rigor (statistical significance) with speed (minimum viable signal)
- You have experience querying databases using SQL or other framework
- You love running A/B tests, measuring what matters, and iterating fast based, while demonstrating good judgement on when to test vs. move fast.
- You use data not just to validate but to prioritize, always focused on the next most impactful thing to ship
3. Strong Executor with Eye for UX & Design
- You’re not necessarily a content creator or designer by trade, but you know what great messaging, UX, and landing page design should look like
- You view copy & design as a lever and understand how these move metrics effectively
- Can help shape and test messaging around digital identity for small businesses
- You can spot off-brand or low-conversion content quickly, and partner with the right people and AI tools to make it better
- Can take a rough idea and help turn it into a landing page header, ad copy, or email
- Understands channel dynamics (Meta, LinkedIn, email, SEO, etc.) and has good taste for how to create & deploy aesthetically
- You’ve built or contributed to prompt libraries, automations, or internal workflows that materially accelerated execution
