Position Overview:
We are looking for a Co-Medical director to join our team, located in Tel-Aviv, to lead the clinical aspects in our data-driven approach to optimizing clinical trials. The role will support both our data science teams and business development efforts, ensuring the highest standard of clinical relevance in our work. The ideal candidate will be an M.D. with a strong interest in leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning methods to improve clinical trial design and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Guidance for Data Analysis: Provide clinical insights and oversight for the interpretation of causal ML-based models, ensuring their relevance and accuracy in clinical applications.
- Support for Business Development: Assist in communicating clinical value propositions to clients, supporting the business development team in discussions with pharma and biotech companies
- Serve as a clinical expert in client discussions, helping translate complex data outputs into actionable medical insights.
- Education and Training: Provide guidance to internal teams on key clinical concepts relevant to the various projects.
Qualifications:
- M.D. degree with experience in clinical research, clinical trial design, or drug development.
- Understanding of biostatistics and an interest in applying causal machine learning in clinical settings (no technical expertise required, but willingness to engage is essential).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for clinical trials (e.g., FDA, EMA, GCP) is an advantage.
